Yes. All caregivers are carefully vetted, background checked, and experienced in professional childcare. Our team members are CPR and First Aid certified and chosen for their calm, nurturing, and professional presence at events. All nannies have cared for my own children as well.

Yes. MI Wedding Nanny carries liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to venues upon request.

We care for children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. Activities and care are tailored to each age group to ensure everyone feels comfortable and engaged.

Staffing is determined based on the ages and number of children attending. Our ratios are less than the Michigan state required childcare ratios due to the attention required at special events. We prioritize safe and attentive care, especially for infants and toddlers. If your guest count requires additional caregivers, we will coordinate that for you.

Care can take place:
• In a designated room at your venue
• In a quiet area during the reception
• At a nearby hotel or Airbnb

We work with couples and planners to determine the best setup for your event.

We bring age-appropriate activities such as:
• Crafts and coloring
• Games and interactive play
• Quiet toys and books
• Movie time (if desired)
• Wind-down routines for bedtime

Our goal is to create a fun but calm environment that fits the flow of your wedding day.

Children are never forced into separation. If a child needs their parent, we communicate promptly and respectfully. Your guests’ peace of mind is always our priority.

We can assist with snack time and meals provided by the family or caterer. We are attentive to allergies and special dietary needs and follow parent instructions carefully.

Off-site (at your hotel, home or Airbnb) nannying requires a minimum of 4 hours. All other packages will include a set amount of hours. 

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding season dates. Availability is limited to ensure quality care for every event. 

Yes. We can staff multiple caregivers depending on the number of children attending. We’ll create a custom staffing plan based on your guest list.

We plan proactively and maintain backup caregivers to ensure your event is always covered.

Absolutely. We communicate directly with planners and venue coordinators to ensure seamless integration into your wedding timeline.
